Our History
Attards is a family owned business that was founded by Fort Attard in Melbourne in 1972. Fort was later joined by his sons and the family specialised in creating custom- fitted canvas tarpaulins for the growing Australian transport industry. Measuring, plotting, cutting and stitching was carried out by hand, and Attard’s attention to detail and careful work resulted in his business becoming known for its unbeatable quality and satisfied customers.
We have come a long way since then. Our business has grown to include large format digital printing, graphic design and refinishing services as well as the manufacture of PVC truck curtains, but we’re still family owned and run, and still maintain the same focus on attention to detail, quality and customer satisfaction that our founder did.
